Cleo
Nursery Director
Founder of Alexander House Nursery, with over 30 years childcare experience including running Gymboree Play & Music Wandsworth for 15 years.

Hello, my name is Nathan and I have over 24 years’ experience working in the Early Years sector. Originally from Hampshire, I have managed nurseries in Surrey, Berkshire Wiltshire, Middlesex as well as London.
I started my carer in Early years in the late 90’s and after gaining my qualification working with the pre school age group I soon gained further experience after a promotion to a Baby Room leader.
In 2004 I moved into management as a deputy manager of a 50 place nursery before being promoted again six months later to a small 44 place nursery in Twickenham. I then went on to work as a nursery manager in Bracknell for over eight years.
In more recent years I have worked as a support manager for a small company as well as running their afterschool and holiday clubs and have worked as an area manager for a group of nurseries in the Brentford area.
In my spare time I enjoy growing my own fruit and vegetables in my allotment as well as enjoying all things science fiction and co-hosting a book club podcast.
